Year 4 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover Location: Hounslow Contract: Long-Term Supply Duration: 30th November 2026 – End of Academic Year Hours: Part-Time – ideally Monday to Wednesday, with flexibility for the right candidate Year Group: Year 4 Start Date: 30th November 2026 The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join our school on a part-time basis to provide maternity cover from 30th November until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will take on the role of main class teacher for a Year 4 class, job-sharing with the school's Deputy Headteacher. Although this is a long-term supply position, the successful teacher will be fully integrated into school life and will be expected to take ownership of the class in the same way as a permanent member of teaching staff. The ideal working pattern is Monday to Wednesday, although there may be some flexibility for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the teaching, learning and progress of a Year 4 class on your allocated days. Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum. Assess pupils' progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
