JDR Recruitment is looking for reliable and hardworking Machine Packing Operatives to join a well-established and successful plastics manufacturing company based in the Crumlin / Oakdale area.

Our client is a respected manufacturer supplying high-quality plastic products to a range of industries across the UK. Due to ongoing production requirements, they are looking to welcome new team members into their busy manufacturing operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous factory, production, machine operating or packing experience who are looking for consistent work and long-term stability.

Working Hours & Pay

• £13.76 per hour

• 48 paid hours per week

• 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern

• 2 day shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm

• 2 night shifts: 6:00pm - 6:00am

• Followed by 4 days off

• Permanent opportunity after 12 weeks, subject to successful probation

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll be working within a busy plastics manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are manufactured, checked and packed to a high standard.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Monitoring production machinery and ensuring products are coming through correctly.

• Inspecting plastic products for quality and identifying any defects.

• Packing finished products ready for storage or dispatch.

• Operating machinery when trained and required.

• Labelling, stacking and preparing finished products.

• Keeping your workstation clean, tidy and organised.

• Following health and safety procedures.

• Working alongside your team to keep production running smoothly.

What Are We Looking For?

We're particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked in manufacturing, production, packing or machine operating roles.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in a factory or production environment.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to spot product defects.

• Confidence working around manufacturing machinery.

• A reliable attitude and a good work ethic.

• The ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.

• Your own transport or reliable means of commuting to the Crumlin / Oakdale area.

Previous plastics manufacturing or injection moulding experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
