Care Home Chef – 30-Bed Care Home – Churston, Brixham Care Home Chef – Full Time – 30-Bed Care Home – AV2065 Churston, Brixham – AV2038A 40 Hours per Week Location: Churston, Brixham, Devon Pay: £26,832.00 per annum Shift: 8am–6pm Working Pattern: 4 days per week About the Role We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Care Home Chef to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in the beautiful Churston area of Brixham. The home is situated in beautiful surroundings on a golf course, providing a peaceful and attractive environment for residents and staff. As a Care Home Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, appetising and well-presented meals for residents, while ensuring all dietary, nutritional and food safety requirements are met. Working 40 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts from 8am–6pm, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals, catering for individual dietary requirements and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety. A good understanding and practical knowledge of IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) is essential, along with a strong understanding of SFBB (Safer Food, Better Business) procedures.
