Individual Support Assistant - Cheltenham Mainstream Primary School - ASAP Start Academics are working with a welcoming primary school in Cheltenham that is looking for a caring and dedicated Individual Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs. You'll work alongside the class teacher and wider school team to provide tailored support, adapting activities to suit the pupil's individual needs. Previous experience in education, childcare, care or support work would be beneficial, although a patient, positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important. Key Details Role: Individual Support Assistant Location: Cheltenham Setting: Mainstream Primary School Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Working Pattern: Full-time, term time only Pay: £90-£105 per day, depending on experience DBS: Enhanced DBS required, or willingness to applyWhat Will You Be Doing? Providing dedicated 1:1 support to help a pupil engage with classroom learning and daily activities. Adapting tasks and learning activities to meet the pupil's individual needs.
