Teacher of Marketing & Business Hayes Hillingdon Permanent Opportunity

Are you a Business or Marketing Teacher looking to bring your subject to life through real brands campaigns and enterprise projects

A specialist media academy in Hayes Hillingdon is looking for an engaging and ambitious Teacher of Marketing & Business to teach students across Key Stage 4 and Post-16.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys making commercial concepts relevant and accessible helping students understand how audiences advertising and businesses operate within the media industry.

Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Marketing & Business lessons across Key Stage 4 and Post-16

• Use real brands audiences and advertising campaigns to develop students commercial understanding

• Contribute to curriculum planning teaching resources and assessment

• Monitor progress provide targeted support and prepare students for external examinations and assessments

• Adapt teaching to support students with SEND EAL learners and disadvantaged students

• Support live marketing briefs and lead a student enterprise project

• Act as a tutor supporting students attendance punctuality and wellbeing

• Build positive relationships with students families colleagues and industry partners

Person Specification

• Qualified teacher with a strong record of outcomes in Business and/or Marketing

• Secure knowledge of relevant GCSE vocational and Post-16 specifications

• Strong classroom practice and the ability to explain business concepts clearly

• Experience using assessment information to support student progress

• Interest in the media marketing and commercial sectors

• Confidence developing enterprise projects and working with external partners

• Commercial marketing or enterprise experience outside teaching is desirable but not essential

• Organised enthusiastic and committed to inclusive teaching and safeguarding
