POST-16 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – EDGWARE £110–£120 per day | Immediate start | Full-time Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference to young people's lives beyond school? We are looking for a strong, proactive and compassionate SEN TA to join a specialist Post-16 SEN college in Edgware, supporting young adults with complex additional learning needs as they prepare for greater independence, further education, employment and adult life. THE ROLE You will work closely with Post-16 learners, providing individual and small-group support across a highly personalised curriculum. The college focuses on developing students': Independent living skills Functional English and Maths Vocational and employability skills Communication and social skills Confidence and independence Travel and community-access skills Preparation for further college courses, supported employment and adult lifeYou may also support learners during work placements and community-based activities, making this a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same.
