LRB Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Supply Hive Wales are working with a welcoming primary school in CF23 who are looking for a confident and experienced TA to join their LRB team.\n
\n
\nThis role would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils and is confident supporting children with \n
\nadditional learning needs, challenging behaviour and 1:1 support.\n

\n What you'll be doing:\n
\n

\n
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
\n
• Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them
\n
• Supporting communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing
\n
• Encouraging independence and confidence
\n
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider support team
\n
• Helping create a calm, structured and positive classroom environment
\n

\n You'll need:\n
\n

\n
• A relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching & Learning, CCLD or Health & Social Care qualification, HLTA qualification, or relevant Childhood/Education degree
\n
• Previous experience supporting children with ALN, challenging behaviour or in a 1:1 setting
\n
• A patient, consistent and nurturing approach
\n
• Confidence working as part of a team
\n

Other Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (Or willingness to obtain)
\n
• 2 professional references
\n
• The right to work in the UK
\n
• Be 18 or over
\n

Important information
\n

• £93–£100 per day
\n
• 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
\n
• CF23, Cardiff
