Pay: £185–£265 per day PAYE

The opportunity

A specialist SEN education setting in Redbridge needs an English teacher who can build confidence in reading, writing and communication through thoughtful, well-pitched teaching.

What you will do

• Deliver accessible English and literacy lessons matched to individual starting points.
• Adapt texts, questioning and written tasks for different communication and learning needs.
• Create motivating routines that encourage participation and independence.
• Use assessment information to plan next steps and demonstrate progress.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative teaching and therapy team.

What you will bring

• Qualified Teacher Status and strong English curriculum knowledge.
• The ability to differentiate with clarity, patience and imagination.
• Sound safeguarding practice and a child-centred approach.
• QTS is required for this teaching role.
