Chef De Partie

Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, are now recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Tonbridge School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at one of the UK's leading independent schools, working alongside experienced chefs to deliver high-quality food and exceptional service to pupils, staff and guests.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie who takes pride in using fresh ingredients, has excellent culinary skills and enjoys working as part of a professional kitchen team.

You will play an important role in delivering a high-quality food offer, taking responsibility for your section while supporting the wider kitchen team to maintain consistently high standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Running your section of the kitchen to a consistently high standard

• Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to the required quality, presentation and portion specifications

• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and served in line with recipes and food safety standards

• Supporting the development of menus and new food ideas

• Assisting with the training and development of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants

• Ensuring food is stored correctly and working to minimise food waste

• Assisting with food ordering, deliveries and stock rotation
