Level 3 Teaching Assistant – SEND Support\n

Greenwich Primary School Full-Time ASAP Start

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

\n

The successful candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting children with SEND within a primary school setting.

The Role\n

\n
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
\n
• Supporting children with their learning, communication and social development
\n
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop independence
\n
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
\n
• Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider school team
\n
• Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
\n

Essential requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential
\n
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school – essential
\n
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs
\n
