Our Client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a successful mixed school in Brentwood. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging, challenging and appropriately differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence in Mathematics and achieve their academic potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher who wants to work within a collaborative department where high standards are encouraged and professional development is valued. You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and using assessment information to identify areas for further development.

The school is open to applications from experienced Maths Teachers and ECTs, as well as suitably qualified overseas teachers who have a recognised teaching qualification and the legal right to work within the UK.

Experience and Qualifications

• Maths Teacher with the ability to teach effectively at KS3 and KS4

• Strong Mathematics subject knowledge

• A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

• Experience planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons

• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

• Ability to differentiate effectively and challenge high-achieving pupils

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to supporting pupils’ academic progress and confidence in Mathematics

• Legal ability to work within the UK
