General Operative – Colour Matcher / Tinter Role Overview SourceCo Recruitment are currently looking for a General Operative – Colour Matcher / Tinter to join a busy manufacturing environment in Belfast. The Colour Matcher plays an important role in ensuring paint and coating products consistently meet the required quality and colour standards. The role combines practical production work with colour matching, quality control and accurate record keeping. You will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet customer requirements, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, housekeeping and health & safety. Salary: Starting salary £25,000 per annum and increase after successful probation Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 / Friday – 08:30 – 14:00 Key Responsibilities * Monitor the consistency and quality of batch productions. * Adjust paint mixtures to accurately replicate specific colours and shades. * Match colour standards both visually and using spectrometers. * Work closely with Quality Control teams to identify and resolve defects. * Maintain stock levels of paints, tints and paint-room supplies using a computerised inventory system. * Handle liquids, chemicals and solvents safely. * Carry out solvent blending and powder weighing. * Clean containers and equipment. * Fill cans with finished paint prod...
