SEN Biology Teacher – Lambeth

Pay: £185–£265 per day PAYE

The opportunity

An inclusive specialist SEN setting in Lambeth is looking for a Biology teacher who can make science practical, accessible and genuinely engaging for pupils with varied learning profiles.

What you will do

• Plan and teach differentiated Biology lessons across appropriate key stages.
• Use practical demonstrations, visual resources and structured routines to build understanding.
• Track progress against individual learning priorities and EHCP outcomes.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a calm classroom and consistently high safeguarding standards.

What you will bring

• Qualified Teacher Status and secure Biology subject knowledge.
• Experience adapting teaching for SEND or a strong commitment to inclusive practice.
• Clear communication, reliable assessment and creative lesson planning.
• QTS is required for this teaching role.
