Our client is the flagship restaurant of a celebrated, award-winning chef patron. It sits in the heart of Covent Garden and holds a Michelin star. The kitchen has a clear goal: a second star. They are now looking for an ambitious, driven Sous Chef to help get there.
The restaurant
This is fine dining without the stuffiness. The cooking rests on classical technique, with just the right amount of playfulness and originality, and the atmosphere is fun, friendly and uplifting. Everything centres on a marble-topped open kitchen, with a chef's counter facing the pass. Here you cook in front of the guests, not behind closed doors.
The tasting menus celebrate the best of British produce from every corner of the country, and the team works closely with farmers, fishermen and growers to cook with the seasons.
Sous Chef role
- Work alongside the Head Chef to run a high-performing Michelin-starred brigade
- Lead the pass and run services with precision, calm and consistency
