This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to support the full employee lifecycle, provide an efficient service to staff and help ensure the school's HR processes run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Assistant or HR administration role.
Good understanding of recruitment, employee relations and HR procedures.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Confidence handling confidential and sensitive information.
Good IT skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.
Experience in an education setting would be advantageous.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day HR support across the school, working closely with senior leaders, managers and staff. The role will involve coordinating recruitment, maintaining employee records, supporting staff queries and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating recruitment, interviews, references and onboarding.
Maintaining accurate staff records and personnel files.
Supporting contracts, absence management and employee changes.
Responding to HR queries and advising on routine processes.
Assisting with safer recruitment checks and compliance.
Preparing HR reports, letters and documentation.
Supporting the implementation and review of HR policies.
