Job description

Club Manager – Fitness Space Woking

Competitive salary plus KPI bonus and sales commission

Fitness Space is looking for a Club Manager to lead our Woking club. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded manager who enjoys developing a team, growing a membership base and delivering a genuinely personal member experience.

Our promise is Never Train Alone. We combine a premium training environment with coaching, personal training and hands-on support. As Club Manager, you’ll take ownership of Woking’s day-to-day performance and make sure that promise is felt by every member.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Woking team, setting clear expectations, coaching performance and helping people develop.

  • Drive membership growth through effective lead follow-up, appointments, tours and sales conversion.

  • Build strong relationships with members and improve engagement and retention.

  • Grow personal training by helping members find the right support and working closely with coaches to develop their client base.

  • Manage the club’s daily operations, standards and resources to deliver a consistently high-quality experience.

  • Take responsibility for the club’s budget and performance, including revenue, sales, net membership growth and personal training results.

  • Maintain a safe, compliant and welcoming training environment.

  • Support local marketing and build relationships with businesses and community partners in Woking.

The role has clear performance measures and an opportunity to earn a monthly KPI bonus and sales commission. You’ll have the support of the General Manager while taking real ownership of your club and team.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience managing a gym, health club or similar member-focused business.

  • A strong commercial approach, with the ability to turn sales activity into sustainable membership growth.

  • Confident leadership and a genuine interest in developing people.

  • Excellent communication and a natural ability to build relationships with members and the local community.

  • Comfort working with targets, budgets and club performance data.

  • A hands-on approach to service, operational standards and problem solving.

If you’re ready to lead a club where member support matters as much as commercial performance, we’d love to hear from you.
