Our Client is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lambeth on an ASAP basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO and wider pastoral and teaching teams, providing high-quality administrative and practical support across the school's SEND provision. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and compassionate individual who understands the needs of students with additional educational needs and is confident working with teachers, parents, carers and external professionals.
The successful SENCO Assistant will ideally have experience supporting EHCP processes, Annual Reviews, SEN administration, pupil records and communication with Local Authorities or other agencies. The role will involve helping to ensure that students receive appropriate support and that SEN documentation and processes are managed accurately and efficiently. Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience working within a school, SEN or education setting.
Experience supporting SEN administration, EHCPs, Annual Reviews or pupil support would be highly beneficial.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with staff, parents, carers and external professionals.
A caring, patient and professional approach to supporting students.
Legal ability to work within the UK.
