Daily pay: £92.59-£115

Help children with special educational needs feel included, build confidence and make progress at school.

Monarch Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a primary school in Bury.

About the role

\n

You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils' learning, communication and well-being.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
\n
• Adapting activities to suit individual learning needs.
\n
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
\n
• Encouraging independence and participation in lessons.
\n
• Sharing progress and observations with school staff.
\n

What you'll need

\n

\n
• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or relevant childcare setting.
\n
• A calm, patient approach and the ability to build trusting relationships.
\n
• Confidence following individual support plans and staff guidance.
\n
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
\n
