\nLocation: Norwich, Norfolk and surrounding areas\n
\nPay Rate: £21.98 per hour LTD\n
\n40 hours per week\n

\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative (Voids) to join an established social housing maintenance team covering Norwich and surrounding areas.\n
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works exclusively within void (empty) social housing properties, ensuring properties are brought up to the required standard before new tenants move in.\n
\n
\nThis position requires an experienced individual with a strong multi-trade background who can work independently and complete repairs to a high standard.\n

Key Responsibilities\n

- Carry out general repairs and maintenance within void social housing properties. \n
- Complete multi-trade works including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating. \n
- Undertake kitchen and bathroom repairs, including replacing fixtures and fittings. \n
- Repair damaged walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards and other internal surfaces. \n
- Carry out patch plastering, making-good and general refurbishment works. \n
- Prepare empty properties to meet the required lettable standards. \n
- Identify maintenance issues and complete necessary repairs efficiently. \n
- Work independently to complete assigned jobs within agreed timescales. \n
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. \n
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment. \n

Requirements\n
- \n
- Previous experience working as a Multi-Trade Operative within domestic properties. \n
- Strong practical experience across multiple trades, particularly carpentry, plumbing and decorating. \n
- Previous experience completing void property repairs and refurbishments desirable. \n
- Social housing maintenance experience preferred. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads. \n
- Full UK driving licence preferred. \n
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures. \n
- Ability to complete repairs and refurbishment works to a high standard. \n
