Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day management of the school reception and administrative functions, ensuring high efficiency and a welcoming environment.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and schedule our administrative support staff to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Data & Systems Management: Maintain accurate pupil and staff records using our management information systems (e.g., SIMS/Bromcom), ensuring full compliance with GDPR and statutory regulations.
Communication Hub: Serve as a primary point of contact for external agencies, governors, parents, and local authorities, managing queries with professionalism and discretion.
Resource Coordination: Assist with the procurement of office supplies, manage facility scheduling, and support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with administrative logistics.
Requirements
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this position.
Experience: Proven background in office management or senior administration, ideally within a secondary school or fast-paced educational setting.
Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Office and school database software.
