Your New OpportunityA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Cashier to join a busy and fast-paced finance team based in Falkirk. This role will initially be offered as a 3-month temporary contract. However, there is a genuine opportunity for the position to be permanent for the right individual.This is an ideal position for someone looking to develop their finance career in a high-volume transactional environment. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day cash operations, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of cash receipts and payments Allocating iing payments accurately and efficiently Performing daily bank and cashbook reconciliations Investigating and resolving discrepancies Managing and maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with month-end finance activities Supporting the wider finance team with transactional finance duties Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines Working effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
What You'll Need to Succeed Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Cashier, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Receivable, or similar transactional finance role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent numerical and analytical skills Ability to manage a high volume of transactions efficiently Strong organisational and time-management skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
