  • Troubleshooting issues across cloud platforms, Linux, networking and virtualisation
  • \n
  • Supporting the deployment and commissioning of new compute capacity
  • \n
  • Investigating infrastructure incidents and identifying root causes
  • \n
  • Supporting infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and configuration changes
  • \n
  • Working across both cloud software and underlying physical infrastructure
  • \n
  • Documenting configurations, processes and technical findings
  • \n
  • Identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability and automation
  • \n
  • Working closely with senior engineers and technical leadership to resolve infrastructure challenges
  • \n

Here are the skills you'll need:\n
\n

    \n
  • Around 2 to 3 years of experience within cloud infrastructure, systems, platform engineering or a related technical role
  • \n
  • Experience with Apache CloudStack, OpenStack or similar private cloud technologies
  • \n
  • Good Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
  • \n
  • Understanding of KVM or similar virtualisation technologies
  • \n
  • Good understanding of compute, storage and virtualisation concepts
  • \n
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs and core networking principles
  • \n
  • Experience troubleshooting cloud or infrastructure issues
  • \n
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation or scripting would be beneficial
  • \n
  • A practical and methodical approach to technical problem-solving
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail
  • \n
  • Clear communication and technical documentation skills
  • \n
