Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller interim for a few months / could be TEMP - Perm

We're looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a growing, international business during a period of change.

This is a hands-on controllership role, working closely with the Interim CFO and wider business to strengthen reporting, controls and the relationship between Finance and the Board.

The role

• Own the management accounts process

• Lead group consolidations and intercompany adjustments

• Manage the audit process

• Investigate variances and get to the "why" behind the numbers

• Strengthen financial controls and reporting

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and improve confidence in Finance

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant or strong QBE

• Strong financial controllership and management accounts experience

• Proven consolidation and intercompany experience

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable operating in an environment where Finance currently needs to rebuild credibility

• SaaS experience is advantageous, but not essential - we're looking for someone with the curiosity to quickly understand the model

• Experience working across international time zones would be useful

• Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks
