People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh (EH7).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a busy cash and carry operation, completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This would suit applicants who have worked as a Category C1 Driver, Lorry Driver or Truck Driver.
Rates of Pay:
- £17.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 start
- Finish times dependent on deliveries

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver are:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries for a busy cash and carry operation
- Delivering goods to commercial customers
- Loading and unloading the vehicle
- Checking orders against delivery paperwork
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing all required delivery paperwork
- Providing professional customer service
- Following all road safety and company procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
- Valid UK Category C1 driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous 7.5 Tonne driving experience
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred
- Comfortable conducting manual handling
- Good customer service xwwtmva and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas would be beneficial
Training:
- Full paid site induction provided
- Ongoing support and training
