Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a background in paediatrics, CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services?
We are working with a clinician-led community healthcare provider looking for a CYP Occupational Therapist to join its neurodevelopmental assessment service. This is an opportunity to use your expertise in sensory processing, functional needs and everyday participation to contribute to high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical judgement to help build a clear picture of each child's needs and contribute towards evidence-based diagnostic outcomes.
The Role As a CYP Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Complete specialist functional and sensory assessments as part of autism and ADHD pathways.
- Gather relevant information from children, families, education settings and clinical records.
- Bring an Occupational Therapy perspective to MDT discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
- Produce clear clinical reports and practical, neurodiversity-affirming recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with other clinicians across the wider neurodevelopmental pathway.
What We're Looking For You should have:
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong post-qualification experience within paediatrics, CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services.
- Experience completing functional and/or sensory assessments with children and young people.
- Confidence working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Package & Benefits
- £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
