As the Director of Operations your key responsibilities include:
\n
- \n
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across a portfolio of autism and adult social care services \n
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's operational strategy, ensuring services meet long-term objectives \n
- Take executive-level responsibility for service quality, performance, regulatory compliance and safeguarding \n
- Oversee financial performance, budgets and resource allocation to ensure services remain financially sustainable \n
- Drive service transformation, continuous improvement and the development of innovative, person-centred support \n
- Lead and develop senior management teams, promoting accountability, strong leadership and workforce excellence \n
- Ensure services deliver high-quality, person-centred support that meets the needs of autistic adults \n
- Strengthen relationships with commissioners, local authorities, regulators and external stakeholders to support service development \n
- Identify opportunities for growth, improve occupancy and referrals, and support the expansion of services \n
- Provide strategic advice and operational insight to the executive team, contributing to organisation-wide planning and decision-making \n

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
\n
- \n
- Significant senior leadership experience within autism services, learning disabilities or adult social care \n
- Proven experience leading multiple services or a large, geographically dispersed operational portfolio \n
- Strong understanding of autism, person-centred care, safeguarding and regulatory requirements \n
- Demonstrable experience of strategic planning, service transformation and organisational development \n
- Strong financial management skills, including budgetary control, resource allocation and improving service sustainability \n
- Experience leading, developing and motivating senior management teams across complex services \n
- A track record of improving service quality, operational performance and outcomes for people supported \n
- Experience working with commissioners, local authorities, regulators and other key stakeholders \n
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at executive level \n
- A commitment to promoting inclusion, independence, choice and positive outcomes for autistic adults \n

The successful Director of Operations will receive an excellent salary of up to £90,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
