The Job:\n
\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Arable Operator to join the field operations team. You will play a key role in primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment, harvest support and general field operations, helping to ensure vegetable and arable production runs efficiently throughout the season.\n

\n Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate modern, high horsepower tractors and heavy cultivation equipment\n
\n- Carry out primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment and harvest related operations\n
\n- Use GPS and RTK auto-steering systems to maintain accurate field standards\n
\n- Complete daily pre-use machinery checks and routine servicing\n
\n- Identify and report machinery defects promptly\n
\n- Maintain accurate operational and field records using digital reporting systems\n
\n- Work closely with farm management and workshop teams to maintain high standards of field and machinery performance\n
\n- Follow all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures\n

\nA well established, family owned agricultural business with a long standing history in fresh produce is looking for an experienced Tractor Driver to join its field operations team. The business operates a modern farming enterprise, growing and producing a range of high quality vegetable and arable crops, with a strong focus on potatoes and salad crops.\n

The Candidate:
- Proven experience operating modern agricultural tractors and heavy cultivation machinery\n
\n- Competence using GPS guidance and auto steering systems\n
\n- Full UK Driving Licence\n
\n- Strong mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of machinery maintenance\n
\n- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on machine care\n
\n- Practical understanding of workshop safety and site health and safety requirements\n
\n- Flexible approach to working hours during busy seasonal periods\n
\n- PA1 & PA2 qualifications\n
\n- Valid Telehandler certificate\n
\n- Experience operating a Lexar/loader or similar agricultural machinery\n
\n- Experience with drills, planters, harvesters or other specialist agricultural equipment\n
\n \n
The Package:
- Salary £42,000 basic plus bonuses\n
