Job description
We're looking for an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Great Bear team in Duckmanton, who will play a key role in delivering training to MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continual reduction in MHE accident / incidents.
- Shift pattern: 4on4off Days, 06:00 to 18:00, 40.25 hours per week
- Paying: £32,000 per annum plus overtime after 40.25 hours per week paid at time and half

What you'll be doing:
- Champion a positive Health & Safety culture on site, keeping safe working practices at the heart of daily operations.
- Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions for permanent and agency colleagues.
- Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure colleagues are confident using the correct processes.
- Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
- Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable and compliant.
- Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and hazard controls to reduce risk across MHE activities.
- Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying learnings and helping prevent repeat occurrences.
- Work closely with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reporting.
What we are looking for:
- Valid MHE training certification preferred; candidates with recently expired certifications may also be considered.
- Refresher or external training can be provided for the right candidate. xwwtmva
