About the Role\n

\n We are seeking a Fleet Base Shunter / Fleet HGV Driver to join our client's fleet operation in Chalgrove. This varied role combines yard shunting duties with vehicle movements and fleet support activities, making it ideal for a qualified HGV driver looking for a diverse and rewarding position.
\n You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are moved safely, maintained operationally, and available to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Move HGVs and fleet vehicles safely around the site and local operational areas.
\n
• Position vehicles for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and operational use.
\n
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
\n
• Support fleet management activities and vehicle availability.
\n
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health & safety requirements.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and vehicle documentation where required.
\n

About You\n

\n
• Valid Category C or C+E HGV licence.
\n
• Driver CPC qualification.
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• Excellent vehicle handling and safety awareness.
\n
• Previous experience within transport, fleet, logistics, or shunting environments.
\n
• Flexible and professional attitude.
\n
