Quality Technician

Quality Technician: Temporary, Immediate Start The role We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join a regulated manufacturing site on a temporary basis. You will support the production teams by checking products, investigating problems and making sure everything is properly documented. The site works to strict medical quality standards, so accuracy matters. We need someone who can start straight away and get up to speed quickly. Main duties Helping to investigate quality issues on the production line and find solutions Carrying out in-process and final product acceptance testing Spotting and recording product and process non-conformances Taking part in material review meetings to deal with non-conformance reports Checking device history records and supporting batch release Entering and retrieving quality data on company systems Carrying out site calibration work and keeping accurate records Completing environmental monitoring and keeping accurate records Checking calculations and special instructions before products are processed and released Making decisions on whether raw materials, work in progress and finished products are acceptable What we are looking for Strong experience in a manufacturing, repair or technical production environment or some experience plus a relevant engineering or science qualification (for example an HNC, HND or foundation degree) Good maths skills, including ratios, propo...
