We are looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our client’s manufacturing team in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical units and components to engineering drawings and required quality standards. You will work closely with other departments to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and on time. The Role * Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. * Assemble and disassemble mechanical units and components. * Rig and de-rig units safely and correctly. * Carry out pressure testing on components and completed units. * Use a range of measuring equipment and produce dimensional and inspection reports. * Safely use air-powered and electrical tools. * Paint and prepare units for despatch. * Complete relevant documentation and update the ERP system. * Work closely with internal teams to ensure work is completed Right First Time and On Time in Full. * Maintain a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S principles. * Follow all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures. * Report any issues or deviations to the relevant Manager or Supervisor.
