Job Title: Nursery Practitioner Apprentice
Apprenticeship: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Location: Hove
Salary: £6.40 - £11.44 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner Apprentice to join a welcoming and nurturing nursery in Hove. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting children's learning and development while working towards a recognised Early Years qualification.

Requirements

• Friendly, patient and approachable
• Genuine interest in working with young children
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Good communication skills
• Able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Maths and English GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support children with their learning and development
• Deliver activities in line with the EYFS
• Help plan group and individual learning opportunities
• Complete observations, assessments and accurate records
• Communicate with parents and colleagues
• Build positive relationships with the children
• Support children with meals, dressing and other day-to-day care needs
• Help maintain a positive, safe and engaging nursery environment

Apprenticeship Information

You will complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship, combining practical workplace experience with structured training and development.

Following successful completion, there is the opportunity to progress as a qualified Nursery Practitioner, with further progression towards Room Leader or Supervisor positions.
