Daily Rate: £110 per day

We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wirral. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time.
About the Role:
You will support pupils with special educational needs across primary and specialist schools in Wirral, including pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and SEMH. You will work one to one and in small groups alongside teachers and the SENCo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEND in mainstream primary and specialist settings
- Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans
- Adapt resources using visual, sensory and practical strategies
- Help pupils manage emotions, routines and transitions
- Share progress and observations with teachers and the SENCo
Who We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is valued, for example:
- SEN Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants
- Experience in a special school, PRU or resource base
- Care, youth work or support work backgrounds
- Graduates in psychology, education or childhood studies
You must be:
- Patient and calm when things get challenging
- Adaptable between mainstream and specialist settings
- Caring about every pupil's wellbeing
- Reliable so pupils have consistency every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
