Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years experience, for the UKs leading vehicle rental specialists, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Location:Thetford
Pay / salary:up to£34,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE £38,000+
Job type:Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule:08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Skills and experience
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent; alternatively, Level 2 Technician/Mechanic qualification with at least 3 years experience
Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties

Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role

  • Carrying out routine servicing, vehicle health checks, and maintenance across all makes and models
  • Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, clutches, cam belts, and suspension components
  • Utilising the latest specialized diagnostic technology to identify, test, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults
  • Executing light-to-major mechanical repairs required for vehicles to pass official DVSA MOT tests
