Electrician

Birchwell Associates is recruiting on behalf of an established electrical contractor looking to appoint a qualified Electrician to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician seeking predominantly local work, a varied workload and long-term career development. The role covers a mixture of domestic, commercial and renewable energy projects, with Solar PV experience considered advantageous but not essential.

The Role

As a Qualified Electrician, you'll be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, inspection, testing, fault finding and maintenance to a consistently high standard.

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• AM2 Qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

• Solar PV installation experience
• Battery storage installation experience
• EV charging installation experience
• Experience working across both domestic and commercial projects
