People Solutions are currently recruiting for Multi-Drop Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Newbridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join a busy parcel distribution operation, completing high-volume multi-drop deliveries to customers across a designated delivery area.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver or Courier Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00 start time
• Finish time dependent on completion of deliveries

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Multi-Drop Van Driver are:

• Completing a high volume of parcel deliveries throughout the day
• Loading your van and organising parcels efficiently for delivery
• Following a designated delivery route
• Delivering parcels safely and within required timeframes
• Using handheld devices and delivery technology
• Providing professional customer service at each delivery
• Completing vehicle checks before and after your shift
• Working efficiently to meet daily delivery targets
• Following all company procedures and road safety regulations

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will need:

• A full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• The ability to complete a high volume of deliveries
• Good geographical knowledge and the ability to follow delivery routes
• Confidence using handheld devices and delivery applications
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to work
• Good customer service and communication skills
• The ability to load and unload parcels safely
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
