Distribution Channel Specialist – Retail Marketing & E-commerce
London, King’s Cross | Hybrid: 3 days onsite
12-month contract | 40 hours per week | £44 per hour PAYE + 15% company bonus
Start date: 26 October 2026 | Req 73220
Our client is seeking a commercially minded Distribution Channel Specialist to support retail partners across the UK and Europe.
You’ll help manage around 6–7 long-tail retail accounts, supporting partner relationships and coordinating the marketing, promotional and reporting activity that helps drive product awareness and sales. You’ll work closely with the Distribution Manager for Retail UK and EU, collaborating with teams across sales, marketing, operations, supply chain and finance.
What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day retail partner relationships, including queries, onboarding, product and pricing information, and general commercial support.
- Coordinate online and in-store marketing, product launches, seasonal promotions, co-marketing campaigns and demo programmes.
- Keep partners up to date with product, merchandising, pricing and go-to-market materials.
- Track promotional and co-op budgets, raise purchase requests, follow up on invoices and flag risks or variances.
- Report on account performance, sell-in and sell-through, campaign effectiveness and marketing ROI.
- Turn sales and marketing data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Help prepare business reviews, partner meetings, quarterly plans, forecasts, pricing proposals and promotional plans.
- Coordinate internal processes, follow up on actions and identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Monitor retail trends, competitor activity and partner feedback across UK and European markets.
What you’ll bring
- Around 5–7 years’ experience in retail marketing, e-commerce, channel sales, distribution, account management, trade marketing or sales operations.
- Experience supporting retail partners and coordinating marketing or promotional activity.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into useful business recommendations.
- Commercial awareness and experience tracking budgets, ideally including co-op or MDF activity.
- Strong organisation and programme coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
- A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience managing small or mid-sized retail accounts across European markets would be useful. Familiarity with purchase orders and invoicing, reporting visualisation tools or additional European languages is also welcome. An interest in AR, VR, wearables or emerging technology is a bonus.
This is a broad, fast-moving role, so adaptability and the ability to manage changing priorities are important. Some travel within Europe and occasional later calls with international teams may be required.
