Job description

Residential Property Solicitor

Kingston upon Thames | Hybrid Working | £DOE + Monthly Fee Bonus

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy and growing property team in Kingston upon Thames.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload, working on quality property matters and being part of a friendly, established team.

The Role

Joining a busy property department, you will manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion, with support from experienced colleagues and partners.

Your work will include:

  • Residential freehold and leasehold transactions

  • Deeds of variation

  • Shared ownership matters

  • Landlord and tenant work

  • Lease renewals

  • Managing files independently from instruction through to completion

  • Providing clear and commercially focused advice to clients

  • Working closely with colleagues, clients and other professionals to ensure transactions progress smoothly

The firm uses LEAP as its case management system, although previous experience with LEAP is advantageous rather than essential.

About You

We're looking for a qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE and solid experience in residential property/conveyancing.

You'll ideally be someone who:

  • Has strong residential property experience

  • Is confident managing their own caseload

  • Takes pride in delivering excellent client service

  • Is organised and commercially aware

  • Works well both independently and as part of a team

  • Is keen to develop their career within an established property department

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary depending on experience

  • Monthly bonus based on fees received

  • Hybrid working – with 1–2 days from home available

  • Established property team with a strong pipeline of work

  • Supportive and approachable colleagues and partners

  • Genuine autonomy over your caseload

  • Clear progression opportunities as the team continues to grow

  • Standard benefits package

  • Convenient Kingston upon Thames location, close to the train station

The office is easily accessible by public transport, although there is no on-site parking.

If you're a Residential Property Solicitor looking for quality work, autonomy, a strong pipeline of work and genuine progression, I'd be keen to hear from you.
