- Full-time
The University of Strathclyde is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Alumni and Development Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to activity that helps secure philanthropic support for scholarships, student opportunities, research and other strategic priorities across the University.
Working closely with fundraising, alumni relations and operational colleagues, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across events, campaigns, donor stewardship and relationship-management activities. You will support the logistics for UK and international fundraising trips and donor engagement, assist with flagship fundraising campaigns, coordinate meetings and events, and contribute to the efficient operation of the wider department.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and working collaboratively within a busy team environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in higher education advancement, gaining hands-on experience across fundraising, donor stewardship, alumni engagement, events and campaign delivery.
If you're highly organised, enjoy working with people and are motivated by making a difference, this is an opportunity to join an ambitious and supportive team whose work helps create life-changing opportunities for students and advances Strathclyde's strategic ambitions.
