  • Analyse test results and use findings to support engineering and design decisions.
  • Produce detailed technical test reports and presentations.
  • Identify, assess and manage product risks.
  • Support sales and customer demonstrations through technical presentations and working samples.
  • Benchmark existing products against competitors.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly around reducing test and development time.
  • Lead internal engineering projects, managing timelines, deliverables and stakeholder requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Design, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality and Marketing teams.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation, regulations and appliance standards across international markets.

You will ideally have:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience or working knowledge of electrical and/or gas systems, ideally within domestic appliances.
  • Experience in product testing, development, verification or compliance.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret engineering and test data.
  • Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work to project and test plans.
  • A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
