Senior Associate - Court of Protection Solicitor
Oxford | Hybrid Working | 7+ PQE | Full or Part-Time | Legal 100 Firm
Our client, a leadingLegal 100 law firm, is looking for an experiencedCourt of Protection Solicitor to join its growing team in Oxford atSenior Associate level.
This is an excellent opportunity for a7+ PQE Court of Protection lawyer with strong experience inproperty and affairs, deputyship and managing substantial compensation awards, particularly for vulnerable and catastrophically injured clients.
The Role
- Manage a complexCourt of Protection and deputyship caseload
- HandleCourt of Protection applications, annual reports and ongoing Deputy matters
- Advise onproperty and financial affairs
- Manage substantialpersonal injury compensation awards
- Advise onPersonal Injury Trusts and compensation protection arrangements
- Make financial decisions and advise onbest interests
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, Deputies, Trustees and other professionals
- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team
About You
- QualifiedSolicitor with 7+ PQE
- Strong experience inCourt of Protection and property and affairs
- Experience managing vulnerable and/orcatastrophically injured clients
- Confident handling a complex caseload with minimal supervision
- Experienced inCourt of Protection applications and deputyship management
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
