We have a plastics division specialising in the design and fabrication of fume extraction systems including fans, fume scrubbers and ductwork. Based in Little Hulton, we are proud to offer high-quality, innovative solutions to clients across education, industrial, and laboratory sectors. You will be joining a friendly and experienced team committed to excellence in both design and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Converting 2D CAD drawings into CNC output using Alphacam and Woodwop
- Manage and prioritise panel production across departments
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of CNC machines
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings
- Check and verify own work for quality and precision
- Learn and support project coordination tasks as needed
Machines & Software
- 3 x CNC Routers/Machining Centres (3-Axis)
- Alphacam and Homag Woodwop (offline programming)
- Materials include MDF, Solid Grade Laminate, Plastics, and Aluminium
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC programming
- Working knowledge of 2D CAD
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
- Understanding of material properties
- High attention to detail and accuracy
