Automation Sales Manager (Pallet Shuttles)

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a well-established storage & warehouse automation provider seeking a strong sales professional to sell their pallet shuttle product offering across the Midlands and Southern England. With a strategic plan in place and excellent earning potential this is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a capable sales professional within the warehousing/intralogistics sphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop a key understanding of the companies range of innovative & premium pallet shuttle products
- Develop relationships with end user’s to include OEM’s, FMCG and 3PL’s
- Work with third parties within the automation and racking & storage sphere
- Conduct site survey’s and detailed quotations in order to sell pallet shuttle systems effectively
- Attend various customer exhibitions and have the flexibility to travel where and when required
Requirements
The company require an individual who is a self-starter and able to develop relationships successfully via various revenue streams. It is essential you have a strong sales track record from within intralogistics having worked either in warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage, material handling or similar. Knowledge of shuttle systems would be preferable though not essential but a general warehousing appreciation and the ability to provide a consultative approach is essential.
