The business has a strong directly employed engineering team, a long-standing client base and a reputation for keeping hold of good people. Most of the work is retail fit-out, refurbishment, rollout and installation work for recognisable high-street and hospitality clients. Projects are normally planned within around an hour of where you live, although you must be willing to travel nationally when required. This is a roving role, but it is not a permanent stay-away position. Most engineers are home most weeks, but there will be times when you may need to stay away for three, four or five days depending on the project.
