Location: Haslemere

Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 DOE

Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm

Our friendly client are well-established independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and honest service meaning they have a lot of repeat customers and welcome new business through word of mouth and recommendations.

Main Duties

• Servicing and routine maintenance
• Brakes and suspension
• Clutches and dual-mass flywheels
• Cambelts and wet belts
• Exhausts
• Tyres
• General mechanical repairs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Identifying faults and advising on the appropriate repairs
• Working across a wide range of makes and models

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' hands‑on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
• Strong general mechanical knowledge
• Good diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Experience working on a variety of makes and models
• Experience carrying out a broad range of mechanical repairs
• The ability to work confidently and efficiently without constant supervision
• A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• A reliable and conscientious approach
• Experience in an independent garage or similarly varied workshop environment
• An MOT Tester licence would be beneficial but is not essential as we would put someone through their MOT training
