Looking for an opportunity to turn your writing skills into a career?

We're looking for a SEO Content Executive to join our growing Content Team at Add People.

You don't need years of SEO or agency experience for this one. We're much more interested in finding someone who can write, has a genuine interest in content and digital marketing, and is keen to learn.

Maybe you're a recent graduate. Maybe you've studied English, Journalism, Marketing or something completely different. Maybe you've built up writing experience through university, a blog, freelance work, social media or your own projects.

If you can show us you're a strong writer with good ideas and a willingness to learn, we can teach you the SEO side.

What will you be doing?

You'll join our established Content Team and learn how to create content that doesn't just sound good, but it actually helps businesses get found online and turn visitors into customers.

As you develop, you'll get involved in:

• Writing website copy, including service, product and landing pages
• Creating engaging blog content across a huge range of industries
• Learning how to carry out keyword and competitor research
• Writing SEO-friendly page titles and descriptions
• Researching different businesses, audiences and industries
• Using tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to support your research and workflow
• Learning how to upload and optimise content within website platforms
• Working alongside experienced Content Writers, SEO specialists and Account Managers
• Gradually taking ownership of your own client work as your confidence grows

You'll work across a mix of B2C, B2B and SaaS businesses, so no two days - or pieces of content - will look exactly the same. That variety is already a big part of the existing role.

• Have a genuine passion for writing
• Have strong spelling, grammar and attention to detail
• Can adapt your writing style for different audiences
• Enjoy researching new topics and getting stuck into something unfamiliar
• Are curious about SEO, digital marketing and how content performs online
• Are comfortable learning new technology and using AI tools
• Can take feedback on board and use it to improve your work
• Are organised and comfortable working on multiple pieces of content
• Want to build a long-term career in content and digital marketing

Previous SEO, CMS or agency experience is a bonus, but it isn't essential.

We'd be happy to see writing examples from university, personal projects, blogs, freelance work or previous employment - it doesn't need to have come from a professional SEO role.
