General Factory Operative

Location: Aldridge Walsall

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday 39 hours per week2 x Half Hour unpaid breaks per day

Shift Rotation: Week 1: 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
Week 2: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (4:00 PM finish on Friday)


Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Operate machinery safely and effectively adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Assist with the smooth running of the production line and factory operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate the FLT (if qualified) for material handling when required.

What Were Looking For:

• Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment is preferred.
• FLT/Counterbalance licence is preferred but training can be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work across rotating shifts.
