Assistant Management Accountant

Faria Education Group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant who is eager to develop their skills in a global environment. This role will help gather analyze and prepare financial data for our management team (at Alderley Park Manchester). The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to support budgeting forecasting and financial reporting efforts ensuring precision and efficiency in all processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the balance sheet reconciliation for designated companies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyse operational and financial data to provide insights to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist in preparing financial models and variance analysis
• Help with preparing audit documentation and liaising with auditors
• Support with ad hoc financial analysis as required
• Business partnering with stakeholders across the business

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA CIMA or equivalent) preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero NetSuite) is a plus
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Fluent in English; Chinese desirable.
• Some exposure to AI Claude and Gemini.
