Role Description
The Head of Sales will lead all commercial sales activities, driving revenue growth and market penetration for W.A.L.T. in the UK property finance sector. This full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, involves developing and executing the sales strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and overseeing key account relationships with lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, setting and tracking performance targets, and ensuring consistent delivery against revenue goals. The role also includes collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to refine value propositions, inform product development with market feedback, and support successful client onboarding and retention. The Head of Sales will represent the company at industry events, lead negotiations on major deals, and maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitive dynamics.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven track record of driving B2B technology or fintech revenue growth.
- Experience in Account Management, including building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, forecast sales performance, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK property finance or lending market, including underwriting processes and relevant data sources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technology solutions to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, scaling environment and collaborating cross-functionally with product and marketing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
