An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join a highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team advising a diverse range of business clients.

This role would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2-4 years' PQE who is looking to work on high-quality corporate and commercial matters within a well-established and growing team.

You will advise a broad client base including start-ups, owner-managed businesses, PLCs, partnerships, charities, local authorities and high-net-worth individuals. The work is varied and will provide exposure to a wide range of corporate transactions and commercial advisory matters.

The caseload will include:

• Company formations
• Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Sales and acquisitions of companies and businesses
• Management buy-outs and buy-ins
• Venture capital investments
• Corporate restructuring and reorganisations
• Shareholder and partnership agreements
• Partnership dissolutions
• Commercial terms of business
• Share option arrangements

The successful candidate will have broad corporate and commercial experience, strong technical ability and excellent commercial awareness. You will be confident dealing directly with clients, providing pragmatic advice and building long-term relationships.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to business development are essential. You should be keen to develop your practice and contribute to the continued success of a highly respected team.
